And now for our pieces, which we figure out from putting the first two clues together and making a simple vase-face deduction. It's worth noting the mirror-image relationship between a game like this and games like 29/1, 33/2, and 34/4: while those games are binary in regards to where the pieces can go, this game is binary in terms of what the pieces are. But no matter what's binary, there's going to be a lot of vase-face deductions, so keep an eye out for them.
Incidentally, we could have used the male/female symbols instead, which would do little in terms of helping us solve the game, but which would add a little zazz.
